I am the head of the Department of Industrial Engineering at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. In addition to student education and development work, one of my main tasks is consulting and collaborating on practical projects in companies. We solve both standard problems of production management and development projects with the use of progressive technologies and with the implementation of new trends. For more efficient and helpful cooperation with companies, I was one of the founding members of the first startup company at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, which is a permanent partner for a number of companies throughout the Czech Republic. I also work as an external lecturer of educational agencies, where I teach courses on production management, logistics management and related areas.
