Biography
Jan Lansky received an M.S. and a Ph.D. in computer science with a focus on software systems from Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic, in 2005 and 2009, respectively. He has been a Professor with the Department of Computer Science and Mathematics, Faculty of Economic Studies, University of Finance and Administration, Prague, Czech Republic, since March 2009. He has been the Head of the department since September 2014. His research interests include cryptocurrencies, text compression, and databases.
