Pavel Krasnov received his BSc and MSc degrees in Inorganic Chemistry and a PhD degree in Condensed Matter Physics. Currently, he is a leading researcher at the International Research Center of Spectroscopy and Quantum Chemistry at Siberian Federal University. His main research interests are quantum-chemical simulations of the structures of molecules and solids and the processes they are involved in during chemical interaction with other substances and during interactions with IR, VUV, and X-ray radiation for applications in photonics and sensorics.
