Prof. Dr. José Ignacio Rojas-Sola holds a Ph.D. degree in industrial engineering and won the Honor Medal of the Industrial Engineers Association of Eastern Andalusia. Prof. Dr. José Ignacio Rojas-Sola serves as a Full Professor in Engineering Graphics at the Department
of Engineering Graphics, Design, and Projects at the University of Jaén (Spain). He was head of the research group "Engineering Graphics and Industrial Archaeology" from 1995 and he also was the Director for Western Europe of the International Society for Geometry and Graphics from 1999 to 2008. Prof. Dr. José Ignacio Rojas-Sola plays the role of Scientific Reviewer for many different associations and journals. He has also acted an expert for project proposal evaluation for the Spanish Ministry of Technology and Science and the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research and he has been the main researcher in many projects. His research lines include engineering graphics applied to cultural heritage, vernacular architecture, industrial archaeology, engineering graphics applied to industrial heritage, history of technology, computer-aided design, computer-aided engineering and computer animation, among others.
