She graduated in 1998 at the Faculty of Agriculture in Zagreb with a degree in Gardening and Landscape Design. She defended her master's thesis (scientific field of biology – ecology) in 2006 at the Faculty of Science, as well as her dissertation (scientific field of agriculture - ecology and environmental protection) in 2011 at the Faculty of Agriculture. She has been employed at the Department of Agricultural Botany at the Faculty of Agriculture in Zagreb since 1999, and she was elected as associate professor in 2018.
