Professor Dr. Kan Kan received a BS, MS, and PhD in engineering from Hohai University in 2012, 2014, and 2019, respectively. From 2016 to 2018, he was a visiting scholar at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. From 2019 to 2020, he worked as a lecturer at the College of Energy and Electrical Engineering, Hohai University. He has been an associate professor at the College of Energy and Electrical Engineering, Hohai University since 2020. His research mainly focuses on design and optimization of hydraulic machinery, high-fidelity CFD simulations, fluid mechanics and fluid structure interactions among hydraulic machinery, and renewable energy like wind and current turbines.
