Associate professor for the Scientific Sector 07/C1 - Agricultural, Forestry and Biosystem Engineering at Dept. of Soil, Plant and Food Science of the University of Bari, Italy. He has obtained the qualification for the National Scientific Qualification (ASN) as Full Professor for the Scientific Sector 07/C1 "Agricultural, Forestry and Biosystems Engineering". He carry out various teaching roles on remote and proximal sensing and machinery suitable for precision agriculture. The scientific activity is carried out in the field of Agricultural and Forestry Biosystems Engineering with particular regard to: i) collaborative robots in the agricultural field; ii) mechanization in precision agriculture and agriculture 4.0; iii) hybrid agricultural tractors iv) mathematical models for simulating the working conditions of tractors and agricultural machines.
