Muhammad Awais Javed is currently working as an Assistant Professor at COMSATS University Islamabad, Pakistan. He completed his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Newcastle, Australia in Feb. 2015 and his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology Lahore, Pakistan in Aug. 2008. From July 2015–June 2016, he worked as a Postdoc Research Scientist at Qatar Mobility Innovations Center (QMIC) on the SafeITS project. His research interests include intelligent transport systems, vehicular networks, protocol design for emerging wireless technologies, and the Internet of Things.
