Patricia Carvalho Da Silva is an agronomist, a Master and Doctoral Student in Agronomy. During her Master's, she studied the viability of growing quinoa in the Brazilian Cerrado during winter and off-season periods. For this, 19 genotypes were studied under different water regimes. In her PhD, she has been studying the drought tolerance and water use efficiency of different Arabica coffee genotypes submitted to treatments with different periods of water deficit.
