Prof. Halina Cichoż-Lach is a gastroenterologist, PhD, professor and head of the Department and Clinic of Gastroenterology with the Endoscopic Laboratory of the Faculty of Medicine, Medical University of Lublin. In 1991, she defended her doctoral thesis: Long-term clinical, biochemical, and immunological observations of chronic active hepatitis HBsAg/+/, then obtained her habilitation degree. In 2012, she was awarded the title of professor in the field of medical sciences.
