Dr. Josep Maria Salanova Grau

Dr. Josep Maria Salanova Grau is a Transport Engineer with more than 15 years of experience working in EU-funded research and innovation projects. He is a Principal Researcher at the Hellenic Institute of Transport / Center for Research and Technology Hellas, where he leads the data analysis and modelling laboratory supporting the Thessaloniki Smart Mobility Living Lab. His has analytical and data science skills and his expertise includes transport modelling; ITS and cooperative ITS; operations research for optimizing passenger and freight transport; the development and implementation of mobility solutions for passenger and freight transport; and data science.
