Several mechanisms in industrial use have significant applications in thermal transportation. The inclusion of hybrid nanoparticles in different mixtures has been studied extensively by researchers due to their wide applications. This report discusses the flow of Powell–Eyring fluid mixed with hybrid nanoparticles over a melting parabolic stretched surface. Flow rheology expressions have been derived under boundary layer theory. Afterwards, similarity transformation has been applied to convert PDEs into associated ODEs. These transformed ODEs have been solved the using finite element procedure (FEP) in the symbolic computational package MAPLE 18.0. The applicability and effectiveness of FEM are presented by addressing grid independent analysis. The reliability of FEM is presented by computing the surface drag force and heat transportation coefficient. The used methodology is highly effective and it can be easily implemented in MAPLE 18.0 for other highly nonlinear problems. It is observed that the thermal profile varies directly with the magnetic parameter, and the opposite trend is recorded for the Prandtl number.

Nanoparticles are frequently used to enhance the thermal performance of numerous materials. This study has many practical applications for activities that have to minimize losses of energy due to several impacts. This study investigates the inclusion of ternary hybrid nanoparticles in a partially ionized hyperbolic tangent liquid passed over a stretched melting surface. The fluid motion equation is presented by considering the rotation effect. The thermal energy expression is derived by the contribution of Joule heat and viscous dissipation. Flow equations were modeled by using the concept of boundary layer theory, which occurs in the form of a coupled system of partial differential equations (PDEs). To reduce the complexity, the derived PDEs (partial differential equations) were transformed into a set of ordinary differential equations (ODEs) by engaging in similarity transformations. Afterwards, the converted ODEs were handled via a finite element procedure. The utilization and effectiveness of the methodology are demonstrated by listing the mesh-free survey and comparative analysis. Several important graphs were prepared to show the contribution of emerging parameters on fluid velocity and temperature profile. The findings show that the finite element method is a powerful tool for handling the complex coupled ordinary differential equation system, arising in fluid mechanics and other related dissipation applications in applied science. Furthermore, enhancements in the Forchheimer parameter and the Weissenberg number are necessary to control the fluid velocity.

The numerical, analytical, theoretical and experimental study of thermal transport is an active field of research due to its enormous applications and use in numerous systems. This report covers the impacts of thermal transport on pseudo-plastic material past over a horizontal, heated and stretched porous sheet. Modeling of energy conservation is based upon a generalized heat flux model along with a heat generation/absorption factor. The modeled phenomenon is derived in the Cartesian coordinate system under the usual boundary-layer approach proposed by Prandtl, which removes the complexity of the problem. The modeled rheology is obtained in the form of coupled, nonlinear PDEs. These derived PDEs are converted into ODEs with the engagement of similarity transformation. Afterwards, converted ODEs containing some emerging parameters have been approximated numerically with a powerful and effective scheme, namely the finite element approach. The obtained results are compared with the published findings as a limiting case of current research, and an excellent agreement in the obtained solution was found, which guarantees the effectiveness of the used methodology. Furthermore, it is recommended that the finite element approach is a good method among other existing methods and can be effectively applied to nonlinear problems arising in the mathematical modeling of different phenomenon.

The rheology of different materials at the micro and macro levels is an area of great interest to many researchers, due to its important physical significance. Past experimental studies have proved the efficiency of the utilization of nanoparticles in different mechanisms for the purpose of boosting the heat transportation rate. The purpose of this study is to investigate heat and mass transport in a pseudo-plastic model past over a stretched porous surface in the presence of the Soret and Dufour effects. The involvement of tri-hybrid nanoparticles was incorporated into the pseudo-plastic model to enhance the heat transfer rate, and the transport problem of thermal energy and solute mechanisms was modelled considering the heat generation/absorption and the chemical reaction. Furthermore, traditional Fourier and Fick’s laws were engaged in the thermal and solute transportation. The physical model was developed upon Cartesian coordinates, and boundary layer theory was utilized in the simplification of the modelled problem, which appears in the form of coupled partial differential equations systems (PDEs). The modelled PDEs were transformed into corresponding ordinary differential equations systems (ODEs) by engaging the appropriate similarity transformation, and the converted ODEs were solved numerically via a Finite Element Procedure (FEP). The obtained solution was plotted against numerous emerging parameters. In addition, a grid independent survey is presented. We recorded that the temperature of the tri-hybrid nanoparticles was significantly higher than the fluid temperature. Augmenting the values of the Dufour number had a similar comportment on the fluid temperature and concentration. The fluid temperature increased against a higher estimation of the heat generation parameter and the Eckert numbers. The impacts of the buoyancy force parameter and the porosity parameter were quite opposite on the fluid velocity.

This report examines the heat and mass transfer in three-dimensional second grade non-Newtonian fluid in the presence of a variable magnetic field. Heat transfer is presented with the involvement of thermal relaxation time and variable thermal conductivity. The generalized theory for mass flux with variable mass diffusion coefficient is considered in the transport of species. The conservation laws are modeled in simplified form via boundary layer theory which results as a system of coupled non-linear partial differential equations. Group similarity analysis is engaged for the conversion of derived conservation laws in the form of highly non-linear ordinary differential equations. The solution is obtained vial optimal homotopy procedure (OHP). The convergence of the scheme is shown through error analysis. The obtained solution is displayed through graphs and tables for different influential parameters.

The aim of this work was to study the enhancement of thermal transportation in Carreau Yasuda liquid passed over a vertical surface in the presence of magnetic dipole. A mixture of tri-hybrid nanoparticles (Al 2 O 3 , MoS 3 , TiO 3 ) {\text{(Al}}_{2}{\text{O}}_{3}\text{,}\hspace{.25em}{\text{MoS}}_{3}{\text{, TiO}}_{3}\text{)} is inserted into the Carreau Yasuda liquid. The transport phenomenon of heat is derived in the presence of heat source/sink contribution. The concept boundary layer theory is engaged to derive the mathematical expression for momentum and energy in the form of coupled partial differential equations. The derivations are transformed into a set of coupled nonlinear ordinary differential equations (ODEs) with the help of suitable similarity transformation. These converted ODEs have been handled numerically via finite element method. The grid-independent analysis is established for 300 elements. The impact of numerous involved parameters on temperature and velocity solution is plotted and their contribution is recorded. Temperature profile is inclined versus the higher values of heat generation and viscous dissipation numbers while thermal layers are also increasing the behavior. A vital role of magnetic dipole is examined to raise the production of thermal layers but declination is noticed in flow profile.
