In order to study the influencing factors of floor deformation and floor heave mechanisms of deep mining roadways, this paper takes the deep dynamic pressure mining roadway of a mine as the engineering background and adopts a research method combining theoretical analyses, numerical simulations and field observations to study the influence of various factors on floor deformation and floor heave mechanisms. It is determined that the influencing factors on floor heave are a large buried depth, a long duration of dynamic pressure, unique characteristics of the surrounding rock and an insufficient support strength. A bearing mechanics model of the roadway floor beam is established, and it is determined that the displacement of the roadway floor is negatively correlated with the elastic modulus and floor thickness and positively correlated with the buried depth of roadway, the roadway width and the width of fracture zone. A numerical simulation method is used to study the influence of the original geological conditions, strengthening the elastic modulus of floor, strengthening the strength of the side wall rock and increasing the thickness of the floor rock on the displacement of the roadway floor. It is determined that increasing the thickness of floor rock controls the floor heave the most, followed by strengthening the elastic modulus of the floor rock and then strengthening the strength of the side walls. The results of the numerical simulation agree well with those of the theoretical analysis. After the control method of “bottom lifting + bottom angle bolt + floor bolt ” is adopted on site to treat the floor heave, the floor heave volume of the roadway is small during the service period of the 303 working face return air roadway, which meets the application requirements of the roadway. Meanwhile, the theoretical analysis and numerical simulation results are indirectly verified.

During the extraction and utilization of coal resources, a large amount of CO2 and coal-based solid wastes (CBSW), such as coal gangue, are generated. To reduce the carbon and waste emissions, an effective approach is to mineralize the CO2 with the CBSW and then backfill the mineralized materials into the goaf area. However, efficient CO2 mineralization is challenging due to the low reactivity of coal gangue. To this end, mechanical activation was used for the modification of coal gangue, and the mechanical activation mechanism of coal gangue was revealed from a microcosmic perspective by dry powder laser particle size testing (DPLPST), X-ray diffractometer (XRD) analysis, Fourier-transform infrared spectrometer (FTIR) analysis, and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results showed that compared with the unground coal gangue, the average particle size of coal gangue after 0.5 h, 1 h, and 1.5 h milling decreases by 94.3%, 95%, and 95.3%, respectively; additionally, the amorphous structures of the coal gangue after milling increase, and their edges and corners gradually diminish. After the pressure mineralization of coal gangues with different activation times, thermogravimetric (TG) analysis was performed, and the CO2 mineralization effect of the mechanically activated coal gangue was explored. It is found that the carbon fixation capacity of the coal gangue after 0.5 h, 1.0 h, and 1.5 h mechanical activation is increased by 1.18%, 3.20%, and 7.57%, respectively. Through the XRD and SEM, the mechanism of CO2 mineralization in coal gangue was revealed from a microcosmic perspective as follows: during the mineralization process, alkali metal ions of calcium and magnesium in anorthite and muscovite are leached and participate in the mineralization reaction, resulting in the formation of stable carbonates such as calcium carbonate.

The wet carbonation of coal gangue-based backfilling slurry (CGBS) is considered to be an effective method for the resource utilization of coal gangue solid waste and CO2 sequestration, but CO2 sequestration has a negative impact on the rheological properties of CGBS. This investigation explores the effect of carbonization pressure on the rheological properties and CO2 sequestration properties of CGBS by using a carbonization reactor, a rheometer, X-ray diffraction, a nitrogen adsorption–desorption instrument, a scanning electron microscope and other testing methods. The results show that increasing the carbonization pressure can increase the CO2 sequestration capacity of CGBS, and the carbonization products produced make the pores of CGBS smaller and the structure more compact; however, increasing the carbonization pressure will reduce the rheological properties of the slurry, and the optimal carbonization pressure is 0.7 MPa. At this time, the yield stress, plastic viscosity and hysteresis loop area of CGBS are 171.66 Pa, 0.0998 Pa·s and 1376 Pa/s, respectively. However, when the carbonization pressure is further increased, the CO2 sequestration capacity tends to remain unchanged. This is mainly because the carbonization pressure causes the carbonization reaction to intensify, forming a calcified layer on the particle surface, which hinders the penetration of CO2 into the particles. This study is of great significance for improving the utilization rate of gangue solid waste and CO2 sequestration.

Cemented backfill coal mining technology is gradually becoming a key technology for green mining of coal resources. And cemented backfill materials generally have congenital defects such as poor crack resistance, poor durability, and high brittleness, which restrict the promotion and application of cemented backfill coal mining technology. Due to the complex stress environment of in situ stress, mining stress, water pressure, and gas pressure, cemented backfill materials need to have good mechanical properties, and glass fiber is usually used to mix into cemented backfill materials to improve its performance, but there are many problems including complex testing process, high cost, and long time-consuming in the study of mechanical properties of glass fiber-modified cemented backfill materials (GFCBM) by laboratory tests. Consequently, this study proposed and compared four artificial intelligence models to forecast the tensile strength of GFCBM. Firstly, the laboratory tests of tensile properties of GFCBM under different influence factors were implemented to supply the prediction model with dataset. The input variables are aeolian sand content, cement content, glass fiber length, and glass fiber content, and the output variable is the tensile strength of GFCBM. The correlation coefficient (), mean absolute error (MAE), and root mean square error (RMSE) are selected to assess the estimated performance of the hybrid intelligent model. The results indicate that the four hybrid artificial intelligence models show a latent capacity for forecasting the tensile strength of GFCBM, and according to the order from high to low, the prediction ability of the four prediction models is as follows: ABC-SVM, GA-SVM, SSA-SVM, and DE-SVM, and the corresponding values are 0.9555, 0.9539, 0.9413, and 0.9359, respectively. The research findings are beneficial to promote the application of cemented backfill coal mining technology.

Long-distance coal gangue slurry transportation pipelines are critical components of underground coal mine green backfilling systems, yet blockage failures severely threaten their safe and efficient operation. Existing distributed acoustic sensing (DAS)-based monitoring methods for such pipelines suffer from three key limitations: insufficient fixed-point quantitative accuracy, lack of verified blockage-specific characteristic indicators, and limited quantitative severity assessment capability. To address these gaps, this paper proposes a novel feature-level fusion monitoring method integrating DAS, fiber Bragg grating (FBG), and piezoelectric accelerometers for accurate blockage identification and quantitative evaluation in coal gangue slurry pipelines. A slurry pipeline circulation test platform with gradient blockage simulation (0% to 76.42%) and a synchronous multi-sensor monitoring system were developed. Through multi-domain signal analysis, three blockage-correlated characteristic frequencies were identified and cross-validated by synchronous multi-sensor data: 1.5 Hz (system background vibration), 26 Hz (blockage-induced fluid–structure resonance, verified by the Euler–Bernoulli beam theory with a theoretical value of 25.7 Hz), and 174 Hz (transient flow impact). The DAS phase change rate exhibited a unimodal nonlinear response to blockage degree, with the peak occurring at 40.94% blockage. On this basis, a sine-fitting quantitative inversion model was developed, achieving a high goodness of fit (R2 = 0.985), and leave-one-out cross-validation confirmed its excellent robustness with a mean relative prediction error of 3.77%. Finally, a collaborative monitoring framework was built to fully leverage the complementary advantages of each sensor, realizing full-process blockage monitoring covering global blockage localization, precise quantitative severity calibration, and high-frequency transient risk early warning. The proposed method provides a robust experimental and technical foundation for real-time early warning, precise localization, and quantitative diagnosis of long-distance slurry pipeline blockages and holds important engineering application value for the safe and efficient operation of underground coal mine green backfilling systems.

Supported Pt catalysts are highly active for the selective catalytic oxidation of ammonia (NH3-SCO), but their practical use is limited by poor N2 selectivity and insufficient hydrothermal durability under high-temperature exhaust conditions. Herein, we report a composition-regulated high-entropy oxide interface strategy to stabilize Pt–Cu dual sites and steer NH3 oxidation toward selective N2 formation. A series of fluorite-type Ce-based high-entropy oxides, including CeZrLaPrYOx, CeSmLaPrYOx, and CeSnLaPrYOx, were constructed as thermally robust supports for Pt and Cu loading. Among them, PtCu/HEO-Zr calcined at 1000 °C exhibits the best NH3-SCO performance, achieving 90% NH3 conversion at 260 °C while maintaining N2 selectivity above 80% over a broad temperature window of 100–300 °C under a high weight hourly space velocity of 100,000 mL·g−1·h−1. More importantly, after harsh hydrothermal aging at 800 °C with 10 vol% H2O for 12 h, the catalyst shows negligible activity loss and nearly unchanged N2 selectivity, demonstrating exceptional structural and catalytic robustness. Structural and surface analyses reveal that Zr incorporation optimizes the fluorite high-entropy lattice, increases oxygen vacancy concentration, promotes lattice oxygen mobility, strengthens surface acidity, and enriches active Cu2+ species, thereby enhancing the interfacial cooperation between NH3 activation and oxygen-assisted intermediate conversion. In situ DRIFTS further reveals that PtCu/HEO-Zr favors an Olat-assisted internal selective catalytic reduction pathway, in which adsorbed NH3 is activated to -NH2 species and subsequently reacts with lattice oxygen-derived intermediates to form N2O22−-like species that decompose into N2 and H2O. Meanwhile, the formation of nonselective NOx and N2O products is suppressed. This work highlights high-entropy oxide-supported Pt–Cu interfaces as a promising platform for designing hydrothermally durable and N2-selective NH3-SCO catalysts.
