Alina Vasilescu received her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Bucharest, Romania and University of Perpignan, France in 2001. Currently, she is a Senior Researcher at the International Center of Biodynamics, Bucharest, Romania. Her research interests include the development of biosensors for (i) the study of protein aggregation; (ii) the detection of molecules in the gas phase; (iii) the analysis of food and wine; (iv) the detection of biomarkers.
