Ziad Fajloun has been a Professor at the Lebanese University, Faculty of Sciences & Doctoral School of Sciences and Technology, since 2007. He obtained an HDR diploma in 2005 and a Ph.D. degree in 2001 from Aix-Marseille University, Faculty of Medicine. He has experience as a researcher in private pharmaceutical companies (2001–2005/Cellpep SA and 2005–2007/Ambrilia Biopharma). His research activities concern, in particular, the study of biomolecules and their therapeutic interests concerning synthetic or extracted biomolecules of plant or animal origin.
