Mihai Alexandru GRIGOROSCUTA is currently working as a research assistant at NIMP. He received his MSc and PhD (2021) in Materials Science and Engineering from University ‘Politehnica’ Bucharest. His work is focused on the processing of boron and rare earth materials by spark plasma sintering and by pulsed laser deposition. His interest is in the relationships between processing, structure/microstructure, and functional properties. He is a co-author of 20 papers and of 6 patent requests on various subjects such as MgB2 superconductor/biomaterial, Al-B-C based structural materials, and rare earth luminescent thin films.
