Cancer is a deadly disease caused by various biochemical abnormalities and genetic diseases. Colon and lung cancer have developed as two major causes of disability and death in human beings. The histopathological detection of these malignancies is a vital element in determining the optimal solution. Timely and initial diagnosis of the sickness on either front diminishes the possibility of death. Deep learning (DL) and machine learning (ML) methods are used to hasten such cancer recognition, allowing the research community to examine more patients in a much shorter period and at a less cost. This study introduces a marine predator’s algorithm with deep learning as a lung and colon cancer classification (MPADL-LC3) technique. The presented MPADL-LC3 technique aims to properly discriminate different types of lung and colon cancer on histopathological images. To accomplish this, the MPADL-LC3 technique employs CLAHE-based contrast enhancement as a pre-processing step. In addition, the MPADL-LC3 technique applies MobileNet to derive feature vector generation. Meanwhile, the MPADL-LC3 technique employs MPA as a hyperparameter optimizer. Furthermore, deep belief networks (DBN) can be applied for lung and color classification. The simulation values of the MPADL-LC3 technique were examined on benchmark datasets. The comparison study highlighted the enhanced outcomes of the MPADL-LC3 system in terms of different measures.
Currently, remote sensing images (RSIs) are often exploited in the explanation of urban and rural areas, change recognition, and other domains. As the majority of RSI is high-resolution and contains wide and varied data, proper interpretation of RSIs is most important. Land use and land cover (LULC) classification utilizing deep learning (DL) is a common and efficient manner in remote sensing and geospatial study. It is very important in land planning, environmental monitoring, mapping, and land management. But, one of the recent approaches is problems like vulnerability to noise interference, low classification accuracy, and worse generalization ability. DL approaches, mostly Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) revealed impressive performance in image recognition tasks, making them appropriate for LULC classification in RSIs. Therefore, this study introduces a novel Land Use and Land Cover Classification employing the River Formation Dynamics Algorithm with Deep Learning (LULCC-RFDADL) technique on RSIs. The main objective of the LULCC-RFDADL methodology is to recognize the diverse types of LC on RSIs. In the presented LULCC-RFDADL technique, the dense EfficientNet approach is applied for feature extraction. Furthermore, the hyperparameter tuning of the Dense EfficientNet method was implemented using the RFDA technique. For the classification process, the LULCC-RFDADL technique uses the Multi-Scale Convolutional Autoencoder (MSCAE) model. At last, the seeker optimization algorithm (SOA) has been exploited for the parameter choice of the MSCAE system. The achieved outcomes of the LULCC-RFDADL algorithm were examined on benchmark databases. The simulation values show the better result of the LULCC-RFDADL methods with other approaches in terms of different metrics.
The evolving “Industry 4.0” domain encompasses a collection of future industrial developments with cyber-physical systems (CPS), Internet of things (IoT), big data, cloud computing, etc. Besides, the industrial Internet of things (IIoT) directs data from systems for monitoring and controlling the physical world to the data processing system. A major novelty of the IIoT is the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), which are treated as an efficient remote sensing technique to gather data from large regions. UAVs are commonly employed in the industrial sector to solve several issues and help decision making. But the strict regulations leading to data privacy possibly hinder data sharing across autonomous UAVs. Federated learning (FL) becomes a recent advancement of machine learning (ML) which aims to protect user data. In this aspect, this study designs federated learning with blockchain assisted image classification model for clustered UAV networks (FLBIC-CUAV) on IIoT environment. The proposed FLBIC-CUAV technique involves three major processes namely clustering, blockchain enabled secure communication and FL based image classification. For UAV cluster construction process, beetle swarm optimization (BSO) algorithm with three input parameters is designed to cluster the UAVs for effective communication. In addition, blockchain enabled secure data transmission process take place to transmit the data from UAVs to cloud servers. Finally, the cloud server uses an FL with Residual Network model to carry out the image classification process. A wide range of simulation analyses takes place for ensuring the betterment of the FLBIC-CUAV approach. The experimental outcomes portrayed the betterment of the FLBIC-CUAV approach over the recent state of art methods.
