Prof. Roberta Bernini

Prof. Roberta Bernini is an Associate Professor of Organic Chemistry at the Department of Agriculture and Forest Sciences, University of Tuscia, Viterbo, Italy, and is also head of the Laboratory of Organic Chemistry and Natural Products. She has a PhD in Environmental Sciences. Her laboratory’s main research areas include the synthesis of new molecules and structural modifications of natural molecules, the preparation of extracts from plant matrices using traditional and innovative techniques, and the valorization of agricultural waste and by-products to produce high-added-value molecules.
