I am researcher at the Nanotechnology Institute NANOTEC-CNR. I earned a PhD in Materials and Innovative Technologies, Salento University in 2008 with a thesis on “Hybrid Colloidal Nanocrystal Organic Based LEDs”. In 2008-2009, I joined one of top-notch labs on organic electronic, headed by Prof. Inganäs, Linköping University (Swe), working on “Bio-Organic Light Emitting Diodes”. In 2010, I joined IIT working on innovative nanocrystalline Cd-free materials for solar cells with low environmental impact. In March 2010, I was hired as CNR researcher on PHOEBUS project, setting up the Hybrid and Organic Photovoltaics (HOPV) Lab, of which I am responsible. In 2015 I started my independent research being PI of the project “2D ECO Two-Dimensional Colloidal Metal Dichalcogenides based Energy-Conversion Photovoltaics” (SIR-MIUR). Since then, I was responsible for the CNR-Nanotec unit of projects founded by MUR, MiSe, ENI SpA and CNR. In 2020, I received the ASN as Associate and Full Professor.
