Biography
Ricardo J.B. Pinto graduated in Chemistry from the University of Porto in 2004 and received his MSc (2008) and PhD (2012) in Chemistry from the University of Aveiro. Currently, he is hired as an Assistant Researcher at the University of Coimbra, working in the biobased2UC project (https://www.uc.pt/biobased2uc/), where he explores new bio-based materials and their applications in conservation and restoration as part of a new interdisciplinary team. His interests also cover new green approaches for synthesizing metallic and polymeric nanoparticles and their application in the preparation of functional biocomposite materials.
