Prof. Fenzhen Su is the Director of the State Key Laboratory of Resource and Environment Information System, Chairman of the Geographic Information Science Committee of the International Geographical Union (IGU), and Executive Director of the Oceanographic Society of China (OSC). He completed his BS studies in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing at the Wuhan University of Surveying and Mapping Technology, and PhD studies at the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Resources, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and has been awarded the Second Prize of National Scientific and Technological Progress and China Youth Science and Technology Award. His research topics mainly include spatial and temporal big data intelligence, and marine spatial information systems.
