Ilaria Elena Palamà is a permanent researcher at CNR-NANOTEC in Lecce, with several years’ research experience in nanotechnology with an emphasis on Nanoparticles (NPs) for gene/drug delivery in cancer. She received a Master's Degree in Medical Biotechnology and Molecular Medicine from the University of Bari (2008) and a PhD in Smart System and Technology-Nanoscience, with honours, from Salento University (Lecce, 2012). For her research activity, she has been awarded with several national and international prizes. She has participated in active collaborations with other local, national and international research groups.
