(1) Background: The prevalence of coxarthrosis associated with ageing is one of the main reasons for the increase in hip arthroplasty. Educational intervention in the pre- and postoperative period of hip arthroplasty can improve functionality and, consequently, quality of life. Therefore, we intend to map the educational interventions that improve the functional capacity of people undergoing hip arthroplasty on their rehabilitation process. (2) Methods: Scoping review. The search was carried out in the databases: CINAHL complete, MEDLINE Complete, Nursing and Allied Health Collection: Comprehensive, Cochrane Methodology Register, Library, Information Science and Technology Abstracts, MedcLatina, and Google Academic. We included studies that evaluated the implementation of educational rehabilitation interventions that enable the empowerment and teaching of people undergoing hip arthroplasty. (3) Results: Thirteen studies were analysed that met the eligibility criteria and allowed the research question to be answered. Education in the perioperative period promotes training to perform rehabilitation exercises, improves the hospitalisation experience, increases participation in the rehabilitation process, allows early mobilisation, and increases the functional potential, thus enabling faster reintegration into society. (4) Conclusion: Early mobilisation plays a very important role in a person′s functional recovery, as well as in the prevention of thromboembolic complications. Exercise produces benefits in relation to physical function, namely, in improving strength, balance, facilitating functional activities, and preventing complications.

(1) Background: Due to the increase in care needs, especially in the elderly, the concept of caregiver has emerged. This concept has undergone changes over the years due to new approaches and new research in the area. It is in this context that the concept of informal caregiver emerged. (2) Objectives: To analyse the evolution of the caregiver concept. (3) Methods: Bibliometric analysis, data collection (Web of Science Core Collection) and analysis (Excel; CiteSpace; VOSviewer). (4) Results: Obtained 22,326 articles. The concept emerged in 1990, being subjected to changes, mostly using the term “informal caregiver” since 2016, frequently related to the areas of Gerontology and Nursing. The following research boundaries emerged from the analysis: “Alzheimer’s Disease”, “Elderly” and “Institutionalization”. (5) Conclusions: The informal caregiver emerges as a useful care partner, being increasingly studied by the scientific community, particularly in the last 5 years. Background: Compassion fatigue is a common phenomenon among healthcare professionals and includes several concepts that share a direct relationship with quality of life, with consequences on both physical and emotional well-being but also at the economic and organizational levels. Objectives: To analyze the profile of scientific publications on compassion fatigue, dissecting trends, and highlighting research opportunities. Method: Bibliometric analysis based on Donthu’s guidelines, data collection from Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics), and analytic techniques (performance analysis and science mapping) with VOSviewer® and CiteSpace®. Results: We obtained 1364 articles and found that the concept emerged in 1995 and is frequently associated with areas of general health. Through analysis, we identified the following research frontiers: “vicarious traumatization”, “working”, “survivor”, “mental health”, and “impact”. Conclusion: There has been a growing interest in this subject among researchers, with an increase in scientific production related to areas of health such as nursing, providing a solid starting point for further investigation. Background: Post Intensive Care Syndrome (PICS) is a set of physical, cognitive, and mental health symptoms that arise following intensive care (ICU) hospitalization. Regarding physical changes, muscle weakness is highlighted, potentially leading to functional impairments during and after hospitalization. Multidisciplinary guidelines recommend early mobilization, a rehabilitation intervention, as a strategy to prevent ICU-acquired muscle weakness and reduce functionality impairments. Objective: This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of early mobilization and positioning interventions to prevent or minimize ICU-acquired weakness in critically ill patients under invasive mechanical ventilation (IMV). Methods: A systematic review of effectiveness will be conducted following Cochrane recommendations. Searches will be made in MEDLINE (via PubMed), CINAHL, Scopus, and Web of Science. Eligible studies will include randomized controlled trials on the functional management of muscle weakness, muscle strength, and ICU-acquired muscle weakness in adults (≥18 years) who have undergone IMV. Eligible interventions (and comparators) include any manual mobilization and positioning strategy or the use of medical devices. Two reviewers will independently select studies, extract data using a piloted tool and assess bias with the RoB 2 tool. If appropriate, a meta-analysis will be conducted, pooling standardized mean differences using a random-effects model. Results: This review included primary experimental studies manipulating at least one variable, control group studies, or randomized trials comparing early intervention protocols, programs, or plans with standard care or existing approaches in the ICU. Conclusions: This review will provide meaningful comparisons of different mobilization and positioning strategies, evaluating their impact on muscle strength and functionality in critically ill patients. Systematic Review Registration: PROSPERO CRD4202348091.

Background: Respiratory diseases are a major cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide, often necessitating ventilatory support. Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV) is an effective strategy, but its implementation depends on adequate professional training. However, evidence reveals significant gaps in education and heterogeneity in clinical practice, as well as a lack of standardised protocols. These issues compromise the effectiveness of interventions and patient safety. Objetive: To map education and training programs for healthcare professionals in the application of Non-Invasive Ventilation and its components. Inclusion criteria: This review will consider studies addressing education and training for healthcare professionals (nurses, physiotherapists, doctors and other clinical staff) on the use of NIV in adults (≥18 years). Both qualitative and quantitative studies, as well as mixed-methods studies, will be included, along with grey literature. Studies focusing on educational and training programs or professional development initiatives in various clinical, academic or institutional settings will be considered. Studies focusing exclusively on technical or pathophysiological aspects without a training component will be excluded. Methods: This review will follow the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) methodology for scoping reviews. Searches will be conducted in the following databases: MEDLINE (via PubMed), CINAHL (via EBSCOhost), Scopus, Web of Science and other grey literature sources. Two independent quality appraisals will be conducted, with a third reviewer resolving any discrepancies. Data will be extracted using a pre-developed tool and synthesised in tabular format. This will be accompanied by a descriptive narrative mapping pedagogical features and identifying evidence gaps.
