One of the major health concerns for human society is skin cancer. When the pigments producing skin color turn carcinogenic, this disease gets contracted. A skin cancer diagnosis is a challenging process for dermatologists as many skin cancer pigments may appear similar in appearance. Hence, early detection of lesions (which form the base of skin cancer) is definitely critical and useful to completely cure the patients suffering from skin cancer. Significant progress has been made in developing automated tools for the diagnosis of skin cancer to assist dermatologists. The worldwide acceptance of artificial intelligence-supported tools has permitted usage of the enormous collection of images of lesions and benevolent sores approved by histopathology. This paper performs a comparative analysis of six different transfer learning nets for multi-class skin cancer classification by taking the HAM10000 dataset. We used replication of images of classes with low frequencies to counter the imbalance in the dataset. The transfer learning nets that were used in the analysis were VGG19, InceptionV3, InceptionResNetV2, ResNet50, Xception, and MobileNet. Results demonstrate that replication is suitable for this task, achieving high classification accuracies and F-measures with lower false negatives. It is inferred that Xception Net outperforms the rest of the transfer learning nets used for the study, with an accuracy of 90.48. It also has the highest recall, precision, and F-Measure values.

In this review, we intend to present a complete literature survey on the conception and variants of the recent successful optimization algorithm, Harris Hawk optimizer (HHO), along with an updated set of applications in well-established works. For this purpose, we first present an overview of HHO, including its logic of equations and mathematical model. Next, we focus on reviewing different variants of HHO from the available well-established literature. To provide readers a deep vision and foster the application of the HHO, we review the state-of-the-art improvements of HHO, focusing mainly on fuzzy HHO and a new intuitionistic fuzzy HHO algorithm. We also review the applications of HHO in enhancing machine learning operations and in tackling engineering optimization problems. This survey can cover different aspects of HHO and its future applications to provide a basis for future research in the development of swarm intelligence paths and the use of HHO for real-world problems.

Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs) are popular deep learning architectures used in Natural Language Processing for analyzing sentiments in sentences. The recurrent nature of these networks enable them to use information from previous time steps. In this paper, we analyze the performance of three RNNs namely vanilla RNNs, Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) and Gated Recurrent Units (GRU). Both unidirectional and bidirectional nature of these networks are considered. Pre-trained word vectors from the Google News dataset are used. We evaluate the performance of these networks on the Amazon health product reviews dataset and sentiment analysis benchmark datasets SST-1 and SST-2.
