Background: Leveraging healthcare technology improves human development and well-being. However, adoption is frequently delayed by behavioural and psychological barriers, such as perceived usefulness, trust, and organisational readiness. This review examines the suitability of the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) frameworks in healthcare settings, focusing on behavioural, educational, and psychological factors that influence technology adoption. Methods: A total of 20 peer-reviewed articles from 2019 to 2024 were examined. Results: The review identified significant organisational and psychological obstacles, including a lack of trust, inadequate training, and organisational support. While the UTAUT provided a more comprehensive viewpoint, it needed to be modified to include context-specific factors, including trust, facilitating circumstances, and educational interventions. Meanwhile, the TAM’s emphasis on perceived usefulness and ease of use was shown to be insufficient for dealing with complex healthcare situations. Conclusions: Interventions targeting stakeholders’ organisational and psychological preparation and educational strategies are essential to overcoming resistance and enhancing trust. Future research should look into integrative frameworks incorporating behavioural, psychological, and instructional tactics to improve the use of technology in healthcare.

The purpose of this review is to look at the future sustainability of project management by combining agile methodology and product management. Digital transformation is evolving rapidly, and the question is whether traditional project management is sustainable. To ensure sustainability, a hybrid approach is taken by combining agile methodology to ensure the latest trend in software development approaches are maintained. Agile methodologies were crafted in 2000, but it has only been widely used since 2011 for software development. This paper will focus on the types of agile requirements engineering methods used in the agile framework, used and described in various articles, journals, and studies over the last six years, and how this can be applied together with traditional project management.

In the realm of assistive technologies for visually impaired persons (VIPs), existing solutions such as white canes and guide dogs have limitations in range and practicality. Moreover, current electronic systems often fall short in terms of portability and the ability to estimate distances in real-time. To bridge these gaps, this study introduces a revolutionary wearable device comprising a Raspberry Pi, a camera module, and a pretrained convolutional neural network, all integrated into a pair of smart glasses. These glasses are designed to identify objects and estimate their distances from the wearer, providing real-time auditory or haptic feedback. The development process was rigorous, involving the deployment of machine learning algorithms for object identification and the integration of camera and sensor technology into a lightweight, user-friendly frame. The system’s performance was extensively evaluated using quantitative metrics, showing its precision, speed, and usability. Conclusively, this study presents a significant leap in wearable assistive technologies, offering enhanced spatial awareness, autonomy, and quality of life for VIPs.

Project teams often fight to find a balance between the triple restrictions of money, scope, and schedule to deliver excellent products or services. The dual goal of realising benefits and satisfying the needs of stakeholders drives this conflict. It is possible that the climate and pace of the project will not be able to keep up with the increased demand for the deliverables, which will lead to burnout among project members and possibly attrition for the team. In this work, we analyse the factors that lead to project settings that are not sustainable and provide solutions to address the problem. The reading of 28 pieces of literature relating to project management in the information technology (IT), construction, energy, and health sectors is required to accomplish this goal. The results of the review are tabulated and mapped to the process groups and knowledge areas outlined in the 6th edition of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). This is done based on the Project Management Institute (PMI). According to the findings, increasing focus on the Project Resource Management knowledge area, which interacts with the Planning and Executing process groups, is necessary for the development of an environment that is environmentally sustainable. Plan resource management, develop teams, and manage teams are three processes that are included in these categories and fall under the category of being particularly significant. The next most important area of expertise is project communication management, which is followed by project schedule management.

Background: Even while technology is advancing quickly in many areas, the healthcare industry, particularly emergency departments, is slow to incorporate new technologies. The majority of research is on healthcare in general, with few studies examining medical officers’ adoption of technology in emergency departments. Methods: This study used a comprehensive review design and examined a total of 30 peer-reviewed articles that were published between 2019 and 2024. The articles were reviewed by using keywords such as “technology adoption”, “influence factors”, “medical technology”, “barriers”, “healthcare”, “emergency departments”, “ED”, and so on. This review aimed to identify barriers and facilitators to provide insights to improve technology adoption in emergency departments. Results: The studies were conducted using different techniques, including surveys, interviews, and systematic reviews, to examine technology adoption in emergency departments across different geographic locations. The technologies studied include clinical decision support systems, telemedicine, electronic health records, and AI-based innovations. Several barriers were discovered in this study, including high employee turnover, accessibility issues, insufficient technology availability, resistance to change, and excessive workload. Key enabling facilitators were also identified, namely, good collaboration and communication, a supportive and engaged management team, and rigorous education and training. Conclusions: This study highlights that tailored strategies and collaboration are essential to overcoming barriers in emergency departments, which will lead to faster adoption of technologies that improve patient outcomes and efficiency. Further research will involve performing a deeper study of these findings and investigating more creative techniques to improve technology integration and further establish higher standards of care inside emergency departments.

Background: Leveraging healthcare technology is necessary to improve human development and well-being. However, effective adoption is frequently delayed by behavioural and psycholog-ical barriers, such as perceived usefulness, trust, and organisational readiness. This systematic re-view examines the suitability of the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) frameworks in healthcare settings, focusing on understanding the behavioural, educational, and psychological factors that influence technology adoption. Methods: A total of 20 peer-reviewed articles published between 2019 and 2024 were thoroughly reviewed in this study. The psychological elements impacting technology acceptance and ways for overcoming resistance were identified by examining research that used TAM, UTAUT, or their variations in healthcare settings. Results: The review identified important or-ganisational and psychological obstacles to the use of technology in healthcare. While UTAUT provided a more comprehensive viewpoint, it needed to be modified to include context-specific factors including trust, facilitating circumstances, and educational interventions. Meanwhile, TAM's emphasis on perceived usefulness and ease of use was shown to be insufficient for dealing with complex healthcare situations. Conclusion: Both TAM and UTAUT are helpful techniques for understanding the adoption of healthcare technology when appropriately adjusted. The results highlight the importance of interventions targeting stakeholders' organisational and psychological preparation, together with the educational strategies in order to overcome opposition and enhance trust. Future research should look into integrative frameworks that incorporate behavioural, psy-chological, and instructional tactics in order to enhance the use of technology in healthcare.
