One way to develop local clusters is to strengthen those clusters by using outsourcing to conduct strategic social responsibility, or in other words, to create shared value, which is a win-win strategy for the buyer, supplier, and society and the best and most viable alternative to traditional corporate social responsibilities. In the leading research, a model for decision-making within the supply chain has been developed for purchasing based on shared value creation, long-term relationship management, and purchasing strategies. The research consists of two strategic mathematical models, using goal programming, and then is solved by a meta-heuristic algorithm. Potential outsourcing companies are assessed and then clustered according to their geographic locations in the decision-making process. One (or several) cluster(s) was selected among clusters based on knowledge and relationship criteria. Besides, in the primary mathematical model, the orders in different periods and the selection of suppliers are determined. In this model, in addition to optimizing the cost, the dispersion of purchases from suppliers is maximized to increase relationships and strengthen all members of the cluster. Maximizing the distribution by converting a secondary objective function to goal-programming variables transforms the multi-objective model into a single-objective model. In addition to economic benefits for buyers and suppliers, this purchasing plan concentrates on strengthening the local industrial cluster, fostering employment and ease of recruitment for human resources, accessing more infrastructures and technical support facilities, developing an education system in the region, and assisting knowledge-based enterprises with development.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, significant changes occurred in customer behavior, especially in traffic and urban transmission systems. In this context, there is a need for more scientific research and managerial approaches to develop behavior-based smart transportation solutions to deal with recent changes in customers, drivers, and traffic behaviors, including the volume of traffic and traffic routes. This research has tried to find a comprehensive view of novel travel behavior in different routes using a new social network analysis method. Our research is rooted in graph theory/network analysis and application of centrality concepts in social network analysis, particularly in the ride-hailing transportation systems under monumental competition. In this study, a big city, with near to ten million habitants (Tehran), is considered. All city areas were studied and clustered based on the primary measures of centrality, including degree centrality, Katz centrality, special vector centrality, page rank centrality, proximity centrality, and intermediate centrality. Our data were the trips of this system in Tehran, where the nodes in this network represent Tehran’s districts, and the connection between the two districts indicates the trips made between those two districts. Also, each link’s weight is the number of trips between the two nodes (district). The districts of Tehran were ranked in the smart transportation network based on six criteria: degree centrality, degree centrality of input, degree centrality of output, special vector centrality, hub, and reference points. Finally, according to comprehensive data-driven analysis, the studied company was suggested to create shared value and sustainability through the platform to perform a legitimate system to meet the new challenges. Our proposed system can help managers and governments to develop a behavior-based smart transportation system for big cities.

Nowadays, environmental protection involves many issues and problems, among which the waste generated by various human activities makes up a significant share, which is becoming newer day by day. Moreover, the production of normal, industrial, special, hospital, and agricultural waste and improper management of these materials has created many health, safety, and environmental problems. Based on this approach, this research study aims to determine the model of waste management and energy efficiency in smart homes using the Internet of Things (IoT). The research method used by this study is estimative-computational. For this purpose, the required data were collected using a computational approach. For this purpose, the required views and data were collected through experts in this field and calculated in MATLAB and STATA software. The data analysis tool was represented by fuzzy calculations and for this purpose MATLAB software was used. The study revealed that energy costs in smart homes using the IoT technology are impressive. The number of home residents in smart homes using the IoT is impressive. Home area in smart homes using the innovative technology of IoT is also impressive.

The hotel industry in Iran faces critical challenges that underscore the urgent need for sustainable practices, specifically in the realms of energy, water, and food. Despite industry growth, a mere three percent of hotels fall into the five- and four-star categories, emphasizing the need for widespread adoption of sustainable practices. Focused on Ramsar in Mazandaran, the study underscores the importance of eco-friendly strategies to tackle challenges related to the food–water–energy nexus. Employing the SCOC, Fuzzy BWM, and Z-MARCOS methods, the research proposes a robust framework for evaluating hotel development strategies. The case study reveals a concentration of hotels in Khorasan Razavi, Mazandaran, and Tehran, urging prioritization of sustainable practices in these regions. Analyzing Ramsar’s climate, the study suggests leveraging solar energy and implementing green roofs, emphasizing an integrated approach to achieve eco-friendly hotel construction. Furthermore, the research provides a prioritized set of strategies based on SCOC, aligning with criteria regarding the water–energy–food nexus. It emphasizes internal strengths, opportunities, and strategic technology partnerships while acknowledging external challenges such as political stability and climate change risks. The discussion introduces an Importance–Performance Analysis (IPA) to guide managerial decisions, presenting an insightful perspective for effective strategy implementation in Iran’s evolving hotel industry.

With the advent of healthy visions, two of the trends that have become extremely important in the supply chain in recent decades are corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability, which have affected the activities of buyers and suppliers. The next trend that is emerging is the vision of creating shared value (CSV), which wants to move the supply chain toward solving social problems in a completely strategic way. This research intends to develop a step-by-step framework for evaluating and segmenting suppliers based on CSV criteria in the supply chain. In the first stage, the criteria for creating sustainable shared value (CSSV) are obtained through existing activities in the field of CSR. The obtained criteria are then divided into two categories, strategic and critical, and then the weight of each criterion is obtained using the best–worst method (BWM). In the next step, based on the Kraljic model, the suppliers are divided into four clusters using the preference ranking organization method for enrichment evaluation (PROMETHEE) technique. This framework helps the buyer to conclude and select purchasing decisions and relationships with suppliers through the lenses of CSV and sustainability.
