In this study, our aim is to explore the dynamics of COVID-19 or 2019-nCOV in Argentina considering the parameter values based on the real data of this virus from March 03, 2020 to March 29, 2021 which is a data range of more than one complete year. We propose a Atangana–Baleanu type fractional-order model and simulate it by using predictor–corrector (P-C) method. First we introduce the biological nature of this virus in theoretical way and then formulate a mathematical model to define its dynamics. We use a well-known effective optimization scheme based on the renowned trust-region-reflective (TRR) method to perform the model calibration. We have plotted the real cases of COVID-19 and compared our integer-order model with the simulated data along with the calculation of basic reproductive number. Concerning fractional-order simulations, first we prove the existence and uniqueness of solution and then write the solution along with the stability of the given P-C method. A number of graphs at various fractional-order values are simulated to predict the future dynamics of the virus in Argentina which is the main contribution of this paper.

This article considers a fractional-order neuron model under an electromagnetic field in terms of generalized Caputo fractional derivatives. The motivation for incorporating fractional derivatives in the previously proposed integer-order neuron model is that the fractional-order model impresses with efficient effects of the memory, and parameters with fractional orders can increase the model performance by amplifying a degree of freedom. The results on the uniqueness of the solution for the proposed neuron model are established using well-known theorems. The given model is numerically solved by using a generalized version of the Euler method with stability and error analysis. Several graphical simulations are performed to capture the variations in the membrane potential considering no electromagnetic field effects, various frequency brands of external forcing current, and the amplitude and frequency of the external magnetic radiation. The impacts of fractional-order cases are clearly justified.

In this paper, we simulate a maize streak virus (MSV) epidemic model using the Caputo-Fabrizio fractional derivative. We solve a nonlinear fractional-order model of the MSV using a recently proposed efficient numerical method. We perform several graphical simulations to explore the proposed model dynamics. The proposed investigations justify the usefulness of the recently proposed scheme in epidemiology. The Caputo-Fabrizio type fractional-order generalization of the model and implementation of the method are the key features of this study.

This article investigates a fractional-order mathematical model of Banana Xanthomonas Wilt disease while considering control measures using Caputo derivatives. The proposed model is numerically solved using the L1-based predictor-corrector method to explore the model’s dynamics in a particular time range. Stability and error analyses are performed to justify the efficiency of the scheme. The non-local nature of the Caputo fractional derivative, which includes memory effects in the system, is the main motivation for incorporating this derivative in the model. We obtain varieties in the model dynamics while checking various fractional order values.

In this research, we have introduced compartments for asymptomatic and symptomatic individuals, along with reduced susceptibility, as key factors defining our investigation. The study is carried out in diverse scenarios, considering them as crucial for the essential generation number of the model, set at 3.18( r 0 > 1 ). The persistent reproduction differential method was used to explore the impact of continuous adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) administration on the global gene expression in primary cultures of both fetal and adult adrenal cells. The study also investigates ACTH’s genetic effects on both adult and fetal human adrenal cells. The conclusion of this study is demonstrated through relevant and correct medical applications.
