We analyze a time-delay Caputo-type fractional mathematical model containing the infection rate of Beddington–DeAngelis functional response to study the structure of a vector-borne plant epidemic. We prove the unique global solution existence for the given delay mathematical model by using fixed point results. We use the Adams–Bashforth–Moulton P-C algorithm for solving the given dynamical model. We give a number of graphical interpretations of the proposed solution. A number of novel results are demonstrated from the given practical and theoretical observations. By using 3-D plots we observe the variations in the flatness of our plots when the fractional order varies. The role of time delay on the proposed plant disease dynamics and the effects of infection rate in the population of susceptible and infectious classes are investigated. The main motivation of this research study is examining the dynamics of the vector-borne epidemic in the sense of fractional derivatives under memory effects. This study is an example of how the fractional derivatives are useful in plant epidemiology. The application of Caputo derivative with equal dimensionality includes the memory in the model, which is the main novelty of this study.

In this work, we formulate and analyze a new mathematical model for COVID-19 epidemic with isolated class in fractional order. This model is described by a system of fractional-order differential equations model and includes five classes, namely, S (susceptible class), E (exposed class), I (infected class), Q (isolated class), and R (recovered class). Dynamics and numerical approximations for the proposed fractional-order model are studied. Firstly, positivity and boundedness of the model are established. Secondly, the basic reproduction number of the model is calculated by using the next generation matrix approach. Then, asymptotic stability of the model is investigated. Lastly, we apply the adaptive predictor–corrector algorithm and fourth-order Runge–Kutta (RK4) method to simulate the proposed model. Consequently, a set of numerical simulations are performed to support the validity of the theoretical results. The numerical simulations indicate that there is a good agreement between theoretical results and numerical ones.

This research work is dedicated to studying the dynamics of a coupled plankton-oxygen model in the framework of three non-linear differential equations. As we know that the ocean dynamics have a firm impact on the global climate change and on the creation of the environment. Also, it is recorded that about 70% of the environmental oxygen is manufactured in the oceans due to the photosynthetic bustling of phytoplankton. All the same, the rate of oxygen manufacture based on the temperature of the water and hence can be dominance by global warming. To study the proposed Oxygen-Phytoplankton-Zooplankton system, we use a very recent fractional numerical algorithm. We discuss the existence of the solution for the given model problem because in the case of fractional-order models, the proof of solution existence always becomes an important task. After that, we perform many novel 2-D and 3-D graphs by using Mathematica and Python software to fulfill the requirements of the numerical simulations. We use a generalised form of the well known Liouville-Caputo fractional derivative. Given numerical algorithm is very recent, short, easy, and reliable to use or to apply to the non-linear dynamical models. The main motive of this research work is to study the Plankton-Oxygen dynamics under the climate change by using the proposed fractional-order model with capturing the memory effects and discuss some novel results for the literature on such ecological topics.

In this study, fractional differential transform method (FDTM), which is a semi analytical-numerical technique, is used for computing the eigenelements of the Sturm-Liouville problems of fractional order. The fractional derivatives are described in the Caputo sense. Three problems are solved by the present method. The calculated results are compared closely with the results obtained by some existing techniques in literature. It is observed that FDTM can be utilized as an alternative tool for the solution of this type of problems.
