Rodolfo Dufo-López. Full Professor, University of Zaragoza, Department of Electrical Engineering. PhD in Industrial Engineering. University Professor since 2004 (full-time since 2010). He has published more than 80 articles in high-impact journals (JCR-indexed) in the fields of renewable energy (PV, wind, grid-connected, and off-grid systems), electricity storage (advanced battery models, hydrogen, and pumped hydro storage), and other related areas. He has presented more than 50 conference papers, the majority of which were international. He is co-author of five books and seven book chapters. He has participated in 11 R&D+i projects (lead researcher in 3 of them) and 15 contracts. Currently, he is the principal investigator of two national projects focused on energy storage (batteries, hydrogen, and pumped hydro storage). He holds two active patents (iHOGA and MHOGA software). He has supervised 9 doctoral theses, 30 master's theses, and over 40 undergraduate final projects. He is a member of the "Strategic Energy Management" research group. He has spent 3 months at the Institute of Systems and Robotics (ISR, Porto, Portugal) and another 4 months at the Université de Pau et des Pays de l'Adour (UPPA, Pau, France). His research interests include electricity generation from renewable sources (off-grid and grid-connected systems), advanced optimization techniques, and electrical energy storage (advanced battery models, hydrogen, and pumped hydro storage).
