Presently in agriculture, there is much ample scope for drone and UAS (Unmanned Aircraft System) development. Because of their low cost and small size, these devices have the ability to help many developing countries with economic prosperity. The entire aggregation of financial investments in the agricultural area has increased appreciably in recent years. Sooth to say, agriculture remains a massive part of the world’s commercial growth, and due to some complications, the agriculture fields withstand massive losses. Pets and destructive insects seem to be the primary reasons for certain degenerative diseases. It minimizes the potential productivity of the crops. For increasing the quality of the plants, fertilizers and pesticides are appropriately applied. Using UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) for spraying pesticides and fertilizing materials is an exuberant contraption. It adequately reduces the rate of health dilemma and the number of workers, which is quite an impressive landmark. Willing producers are also adopting UAVs in agriculture to soil and field analysis, seed sowing, lessen the time and costs correlated with crop scouting, and field mapping. It is rapid, and it can sensibly diminish a farmer’s workload, which is significantly a part of the agricultural revolution. This article aims to proportionally represent the concept of agricultural purposed UAV clear to the neophytes. First, this paper outlines the harmonic framework of the agricultural UAV, and then it abundantly illustrates the methods and materials. Finally, the article portrays the outcome.

Generative adversarial networks (GANs) have achieved many excellent results in hyperspectral image (HSI) classification in recent years, as GANs can effectively solve the dilemma of limited training samples in HSI classification. However, due to the class imbalance problem of HSI data, GANs always associate minority-class samples with fake label. To address this issue, we first propose a semisupervised generative adversarial network incorporating a transformer, called HyperViTGAN. The proposed HyperViTGAN is designed with an external semisupervised classifier to avoid self-contradiction when the discriminator performs both classification and discrimination tasks. The generator and discriminator with skip connection are utilized to generate HSI patches by adversarial learning. The proposed HyperViTGAN captures semantic context and low-level textures to reduce the loss of critical information. In addition, the generalization ability of the HyperViTGAN is improved through the use of data augmentation. Experimental results on three well-known HSI datasets, Houston 2013, Indian Pines 2010, and Xuzhou, show that the proposed model achieves competitive HSI classification performance in comparison with the current state-of-the-art classification models.

Accurate and reliable wind speed forecasting is crucial for wind farm planning and grid operation security. To improve the accuracy of wind speed forecasting, a novel combined model is proposed for wind speed forecasting in this paper. First, the complete ensemble empirical mode decomposition adaptive noise (CEEMDAN) and permutation entropy (PE) are employed to decompose the original wind speed time series into the sub-series with obvious complexity different; To overcome the disadvantage of weak generalization ability of single deep learning method when facing diversiform data, a cluster of gated recurrent unit networks (GRUs) with different hidden layers and neurons are applied to capturing the unsteady characteristics and implicit information of each sub-series; The predictions of the GRUs of each sub-series are aggregated into a nonlinear-learning regression top-layer which is consisted of radial basis function neural network (RBFNN), and improved bat algorithm (IBA) is introduced to optimize the parameters of RBFNN; Lastly, the prediction values of each nonlinear-learning top-layer are superimposed to obtain the final prediction values. To validate the effectiveness of the model, 15-min and 1-h wind speed data from the wind farm in Zhangjiakou, China, are used as test cases. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed combined model can achieve the best performance and stability compared to other models. Such as the performance evaluation indexes (RMSE=0.3294, MAPE=2.6169%) are smallest obtained from case study 1, and (RMSE=0.5876, MAPE=4.7875%) are smallest obtained from case study 2.
