Dror Fixler received his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Physics, Bar-Ilan University, Ramat Gan, Israel, in 2003. He is the vice dean of the Faculty of Engineering and ex-director of the Nano Center, Bar-Ilan University. He has published more than 150 original research papers and holds more than fifteen issued patents. His research interests include fluorescence measurements (FLIM and anisotropy decay), optical super-resolution, high-end electrooptical system engineering, and light–tissue interaction. Prof. Fixler received several international awards and organized and presented at more than 400 international conferences.
