This work presents sharing studies between 5G networks and point-to-point fixed service in the 6425–7125 MHz band. In this research, we provide simulations of interference from 5G downlink and uplink to fixed service in the frequency band 6425–7125 MHz. We evaluated several scenarios of interference, which include cross-border scenarios, as well as scenarios of interference within the borders of one administration. The obtained results of this work are presented as protection distance and frequency offsets that are required in order to achieve compatibility between 5G and FS in the 6425–7125 MHz band. The spectrum engineering techniques presented in this research can help different companies and regulatory administrations in their spectrum management and frequency regulation activities and seriously improve the efficiency of implementation for 5G technologies.

Extensively increasing numbers of radio electronic devices significantly complicate the electromagnetic situation under conditions of radio frequency spectrum deficiency and require improvement in the functions and mechanisms of spectrum monitoring systems. Today, in the framework of the existing ground-borne spectrum monitoring system, it is impossible to qualitatively perform the functions and problems of spectrum monitoring. Spectrum (radio) monitoring is one of the main techniques for spectrum load estimation to solve problems of perspective management of the radio frequency spectrum with the purpose of developing new radio technologies. Therefore, the problem of improving the effectiveness of spectrum monitoring does not lose relevance. When solving such problems, one of the most important factors is the extraction of an effective signal with background noise and interference. Therefore, the effectiveness of the Kalman filter application for satellite-based radio monitoring systems is considered in this study. The proposed method for detecting radio signals using Kalman filters makes it possible to make correct decisions with high accuracy. The simulation results show that Kalman filters work effectively even at a negative signal-to-noise ratio (90% and higher), adapting to the original signal at different noise dispersions in a noisy signal. It can be concluded that this method can be successfully applied to solve problems of detecting sources of radiation of a certain frequency according to the signal registered by the onboard receiver of the satellite spectrum monitoring system. The influence of the Kalman filter decision-making speed on the results of radio signal processing was estimated.

Currently, it is more efficient to use LEO small spacecraft as radio control points to determine the compliance of the radiation parameters of electronic means with the relevant norms and conditions of permits for the use of the radio frequency spectrum. Such satellite radio monitoring systems make it possible to determine the parameters of signals and the location of radio-electronic means over a large area with a diverse terrain, which will increase the efficiency of radio monitoring systems. When performing such tasks, one of the most important parameters is the detection and isolation of a useful signal against the background of noise and interference. For such purposes, it is effective to use Kalman filters. It was found that the Kalman filter can detect and isolate useful signals against the background of noise and interference with very high accuracy. However, when solving such problems, problems arise related to the stability of the method to the choice of the initial state of the filter and the inevitable distortion of the frequency of the desired signal due to the presence of the Doppler effect. In the course of this study, it was found that the similarity coefficient depends on the noise level, but it does not actually depend on frequency distortion. It was also found that when the SNR ratio is greater than 0 dB, the radio signal at the input of the on-board measuring receiver will be received with a reliability of more than 90 %. Therefore, it can be concluded that the signal detection method for satellite radio monitoring based on the use of the Kalman filter is resistant to possible frequency distortions of the desired signal due to the Doppler effect and does not affect the correctness and speed of decisions made

This paper presents the results of numerical modeling and vibration testing of a nanosatellite’s optical payload, aimed at assessing its mechanical stability under the mechanical impacts of launch. The purpose of the study is to compare finite element modeling (FEM) data with experimental testing to refine the computational model and improve the reliability of mechanical stability predictions. The methodology included an FEM analysis with an average damping coefficient, an adapter blank test, a resonance study with a low-level sinusoidal run, random vibration tests, and a sinusoidal pulse test. The FEM results showed an average yield margin of safety MoS = 2.5 with a minimum MoS = 1.8 in the primary mirror mount area. The adapter blank test confirmed the absence of natural resonances in the operating range. The resonance study revealed modes in the 300–1340 Hz range, with the most pronounced peaks in the secondary mirror bracket (520–600 Hz) and the electronics unit (1030–1100 Hz). A comparison of the root mean square (RMS) acceleration values between calculations and tests revealed discrepancies due to the heterogeneous nature of the damping. The values of ζ determined by the half-power method varied from 0.9% to 4.8%, which confirms the dependence of the damping properties on the frequency and localization of the modes. The obtained results confirmed the structural integrity of the payload, allowed for the localization of structural elements, and substantiated the need to consider actual damping coefficients in FEM models. The presented data can be used to optimize the design and improve mechanical stability during payload integration into the satellite platform.

The object of this study is the process of deorbiting the KazEOSat-1 spacecraft, which has completed its active service life in low Earth orbit. The main problem is the lack of an effective technique to deorbit KazEOSat-1, taking into account its technical characteristics, orbital parameters, and the need to minimize risks to the environment and other objects in orbit. As part of the work, a software model was built that takes into account the initial orbital parameters of the device, which are essential for planning and performing deorbiting maneuvers. The model is designed to accurately calculate the descent trajectory, taking into account the laws of celestial mechanics and the influence of atmospheric conditions. The optimal deorbiting strategy was selected based on an analysis of various methods for calculating orbital maneuvers aimed at reducing fuel consumption and minimizing environmental risks. This included a comparative analysis of existing approaches and the selection of the most suitable ones under the given mission parameters. The results of the simulation using precise modeling methods in the MATLAB software environment allowed us to determine the main deorbiting parameters, such as the altitude at which the maneuvers begin, the required velocity impulses, the total fuel consumption, and the expected time before entering the dense layers of the atmosphere. Based on the obtained data, practical recommendations were formulated for the KazEOSat-1 deorbit. The first stage, the active controlled deorbit, is carried out by operating the low-thrust engine and braking by the Earth’s atmosphere, allowing the spacecraft to descend from 758 km to 444 km in 2.5 days. The second stage, the passive uncontrolled deorbit, continues the descent to 103 km in 969 days, using only atmospheric braking. The third stage, the uncontrolled drop, begins after reaching 103 km and ends with a drop to the Earth in 834 seconds

This article discusses the possibilities of using fractal antenna systems in wireless communication systems, their features and the main advantages of using them. The presence of the property of self-similarity of fractal structures allows them to be implemented in the creation of broadband and multiband antennas. Therefore, today the capabilities of a fractal antenna are widely studied in wireless communication systems such as 5G, 4G (LTE), Bluetooth, WLAN, WiMAX, GPS and others. The article also presents the main characteristics of fractal antennas and the practical implementation of the antenna model in the Ansys HFSS program. Simulation results, such as S11-parameter, radiation pattern and gain for MIMO patch antenna based on anisotropic fractal, and L, S band patch antenna for CubeSat nanosatellites are presented.
