Prof. Nymphodora Papassiopi is a full professor at the School of Mining and Metallurgical Engineering, National Technical University of Athens. She graduated from the National Technical University of Athens in 1980 and received a Ph.D. degree from École des Mines de Paris—Université PSL in 1986. Her main research focuses on the remediation of contaminated soils with an emphasis on cases of inorganic pollutants, environmental protection, and restoration from mining and metallurgical activities, and environmental water chemistry.
