Ada Maria Tata received her PhD degree in evolutionary biology from the University of Rome La Sapienza in 1993. She is currently working as a full professor at the Department of Biology and Biotechnologies “Charles Darwin”, Sapienza University of Rome, Italy. She is a member of the Association of Cell and Developmental Biology (ABCD/FISV), Italian Society of Neuroscience (SINS), European Society of Neuroscience (FENS), Italian Group of Embryology (GEI), International Society of Developmental Biology (ISDV), Italian Association of Cell Culture (AICC) and Italian Society of Cancer (SIC). She has expertise in the fields of cancer biology, cell biology, neuroscience, neurobiology, immunohistochemistry, neurodegenerative diseases, neurodegeneration, cell proliferation, neurophysiology and cell culture.
