Xinyu Xue (xuexinyu@caas.cn) received her Ph.D degree from Nanjing Agricultural University in 2013. She is now a research professor and the director of the plant protection and environmental engineering technology research center, at Nanjing Institute of Agricultural Mechanization, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. Her research interests include precise pesticide application technology and the development of intelligent plant protection machinery and equipment. She has published 2 monographs, over 100 academic papers and obtained 32 patents; she drafted the first industry standard of crop protection UAS in China, and takes the lead in drafting and formulating 5 industry standards and 9 group standards.
