Philipp Messer-Hannemann is a Clinical Research Associate at DMG Dental-Material Gesellschaft mbH. He completed his Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in 2015, specializing in Medical and Materials Engineering. He worked as a Research Associate at the Institute of Biomechanics of the Hamburg University of Technology from 2015 to 2019 and has completed his doctorate in 2019 on the topic “Initial Fixation Strength of Cementless Hip Cups”. His current research interests include the mechanical characterization of dental materials and the clinical evaluation of dental medical devices. Since 2023, he has been a member of the International Association of Dental Research (IADR).
