At the beginning of her research activity, in 2009, she opened a new line of research in the Group: “Environmental evaluation of waste and recycled materials applied to the circular economy”. She has participated in the publication of scientific articles in JCR indexed journals and communications to International Congresses in the field of the use and recycling of waste in the field of sustainable construction and environmental evaluation of new construction materials applied to engineering infrastructures. Regarding participation in Research Projects, she has participated in the development of applied research with the support of entities in the engineering sector stands out, highlighting: Ministry of Development and Building, Andalusian Association of Construction and Demolition Waste and Management Companies of residues (AGRECA). Her scientific role within the TEP-227 research group in recent years is to expand research lines such as: application of recycled aggregates in the execution of green roofs, incorporation of recycled materials in the manufacture of precast concrete elements decontamination or the development of eco-materials through the use of plastic waste, a line that has started and is in full development.
