Iztok Grabnar received his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Ljubljana in 2000. He is a professor of biopharmaceutics and pharmacokinetics at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Ljubljana (2017–present). His research focuses mainly on pharmacometrics, biopharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics, and clinical pharmacology. His primary research interest is nonlinear mixed-effects modelling to better understand variability in drug effects and to optimise pharmacotherapy for individual patients..
