Robson Carlos Alnoch graduated in Biological Sciences from the State University of Mato Grosso (2011), obtaining a Master's (2013), Doctorate (2017), and Post-Doc (2019) in Sciences (Biochemistry and Molecular Biology) from the Federal University of Paraná. He currently works as a Researcher (Post-Doctorate) and Professor (MIII Part collaborator) in the Department of Biology at FFCLRP-USP. He works in the areas of biochemistry, microbiology, and molecular biology, working on the development of new biocatalysts and enzyme immobilization techniques for applications in biotechnology. He has experience in isolating and selecting enzymes via the traditional cultivation of microorganisms or by metagenomics, enzyme production by FS or FES, and the expression and co-expression of recombinant proteins, as well as in the application of protein engineering techniques and site-specific mutagenesis directed towards the improvement of biocatalysts.
