Dr. Evgenia Sitnikova is a Head Researcher (Principle Investigator) at the Institute of Higher Nervous Activity and Neurophysiology RAS (IHNA RAS), Moscow, Russia. She obtained her Ph.D. in Physiology of Humans and Animals at IHNA RAS in 2001 and also a Ph.D. in Biological Psychology at Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen in 2008. She has been holding a habilitation degree since 2014. Her research keywords include genetic rat models, absence epilepsy, sleep, adrenergic system, whisker system, somatosensory cortex, thalamo-cortical system, behavioral tests and ultrasonic vocalization.
