Dr. Martin Valtierra-Rodriguez is currently a Professor at the Faculty of Engineering, Autonomous University of Querétaro (UAQ). He received his B.E. degree in mechatronics engineering and the M.E. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Guanajuato, Salamanca, Mexico, and his Ph.D. degree in mechatronics from the Autonomous University of Querétaro, San Juan del Río, Mexico. His research interests include fault detection and condition monitoring of electrical and mechanical systems using signal processing and artificial intelligence. Dr. Martin Valtierra-Rodriguez is also a member of the Mexican National Research System (SNII), level 2, and a Senior Member of IEEE.
