Dr. Martin Valtierra-Rodriguez received a B.E. degree in Mechatronics Engineering and an M.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Guanajuato, Guanajuato, Mexico, and a Ph.D. degree in Mechatronics from the Autonomous University of Queretaro, San Juan del Rio, Mexico. He is currently a full professor in the Faculty of Engineering at the Autonomous University of Queretaro. He is a member of the Mexican National Research System (SNII), level 2. His research interests include fault detection and condition monitoring of electrical and mechanical systems using signal processing and artificial intelligence.
