Genshe Chen received a B.S. and an M.S. in electrical engineering and a Ph.D. in aerospace engineering in 1989, 1991, and 1994, respectively, all from Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xian, China. Currently, Dr. Chen is the chief technological officer of Intelligent Fusion Technology, Inc., Germantown, MD, where he directs the research and development activities for Government Services and Commercial Solutions. He was the CTO of DCM Research Resources LLC, Germantown, MD, and the program manager for Networks, Systems, and Control at Intelligent Automation, Inc. He was a postdoctoral research scientist in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of Ohio State University from 2002 to 2004. From 1997 to 2001, he worked at the Institute of Flight Guidance and Control of the Technical University of Braunschweig (Germany) as an Alexander von Humboldt research fellow and in the Flight Division of the National Aerospace Laboratory of Japan as an STA fellow. He performed postdoctoral work at the Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and Wright State University from 1994 to 1997.
