Osman Abdalla is a Professor of Hydrogeology and the Head of the Department of Earth Sciences at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU). He also served as the Director of the Water Research Center at SQU from 2012 to 2019. Prof. Abdalla's significant contributions to education and research are evident in his extensive scientific publications in reputable journals and his dedicated mentoring of graduate students.Prof. Abdalla has published over 60 research articles, authored several books and book chapters, and presented numerous conference papers. He has served as a national and international expert for major global organizations, establishing strong collaborative networks both within Oman and internationally. His work extends beyond academia, contributing to community service in various capacities.
