He has served as an associate professor of Pediatrics at the Paracelsus Medical University (PMU) in Salzburg, Austria, from 2006 to 2016 and as a professor of pediatrics from 2016 to date. Currently, Dr. Weghuber is the head of the Department of Pediatrics at the University Hospital Salzburg, Austria, which is a position he has held since 2021.
