Dr. Andrea Romano is the Group Leader of the Maastricht Endometrium Research Group. He is an Associate Professor at the School for Oncology and Reproduction in the Faculty of Health, Medicine, and Life Sciences, Maastricht University, Maastricht, The Netherlands. He is the Coordinator of the Special Interest Group for Endometriosis and Endometrial Disorders (ESHRE) and Chair-Elect of the ENITEC (European Network for Individualised Treatment of Endometrial Cancer). He focused on molecular and cellular biology. His research interests focus on the role of steroid hormone signaling in gynecological disorders, both benign and malignant.
