Rights of women are one of the widely discussed yet debatable issues across the Western and Muslim world. It is seen in the Muslim societies that many women are deprived in terms of inheriting property after the demise of their parents. This is largely happening due to the negligence of practicing Islamic teachings regarding inheritance at individual and family level. However, Islam has placed a dignified position for women in family and society in all sectors. Particularly the principle of inheritance of property has been clearly stated in the holy Qur’an. In this background, this paper emphasises on exploring (a) Qur’anic and Prophetic stand on women’s right to inheritance, (b) the main obstacles that impede women in getting inheritance rights in family and its remedies from the Islamic perspectives. This paper adopts an analytical approach to study this vital issue. Under this approach, the study analyses the relevant data from the two fundamental sources of Islam, Qur’an and Sunnah, along with jurisprudential views and provides solutions to solve the problems related to Muslim women’s inheritance right in family. Findings of this paper indicated that if the Muslim family practices the Islamic teachings regarding the distribution of inheritance among the heirs, it will eradicate the existing discrimination among men and women in this regard and enable women’s financial steadiness in family and society.

Muslim scholars and experts have given their views on issues related to the permissive and prohibitive use of cryptocurrencies. Scholars and experts’ decisions were of three categories: permitted the use of cryptocurrency; prohibited its use based on Islamic principles; and tawaqquf, yet to make their final decision on the acceptance or otherwise. The main objective of this study was to systematically examine and organize the various studies and research that explored known common ideas among Muslim scholars and experts on issues related to the use of cryptocurrency in Muslim communities. This study adopted the PRISMA guideline of reporting a systematic literature review, where it identified and explored available literature in Scopus, Emerald Insight, and Google Scholar, related to Muslim scholars' and experts’ decisions on the use of cryptocurrency. With the increasing use of cryptocurrency globally, the topic has also rapidly grown among Muslim scholars and experts, which has created a need for a real conclusion and justification for the people to hold on to. The systematic literature review revealed that the Muslim scholars and experts’ views on cryptocurrencies can be sub-categorized further: permitted its use (requirements compliant, regulations, justified reasons, wide acceptance, and gold-backed), prohibited its use (speculative nature, restrictions by authorities, fewer benefits, and religious beliefs), and tawaqquf (potentials for improvement, PMBC, Islamic cryptocurrencies, and backed Dinar and Dirham crypto). The conceptual contribution of this study was that views expressed by Muslim scholars and experts on cryptocurrencies be categorized for public consumption and guide in understanding issues.

The study attempts to highlight feminists’ critics against traditional Christian theology on women. Traditional Cristian theology or known as Biblical or Christian patriarchy by the feminists has allegedly been studied and comprehended from a patriarchal perspective of male dominance hence misrepresentation of female scriptural image within the Bible. In this study, feminists’ critics on issue pertaining to women in the Bible were selected and analyzed its specifics before scrutinized further from Qur’anic point of view. The study finds that despite the feminists’ claim of image defamation of women in the Bible, the Qur’ān on the other hand represented its female subjects in the most acceptable non-discriminative manner. Women as depicted in the Qur’ān were purged of any offensive and denounced outcomes of their own existence and nature. Utilizing scriptural-textual analysis method, the study embarks on deriving points of comparison between the two scriptures highlighting agreements and discrepancies of both texts.

This bibliometric analysis investigates global research trends on littering and environmental negligence in Asia over a 25-year period, from 2000 to 2025. The study aims to explore the development of scholarly attention in this field, identify major thematic areas, and assess the role of technology, tools, and education in shaping the academic discourse. Despite the growing urgency of waste-related environmental issues in the region, systematic evaluations of the academic response remain limited. To address this gap, data were extracted from the Scopus database using a structured search strategy focused on the keywords "technology", "tools", and "education". After applying inclusion criteria based on language, document type, and publication year, a total of 986 articles were selected for analysis. The dataset was processed and refined using Scopus Analyzer, OpenRefine, and VOSviewer software, enabling detailed mapping of publication trends, co-authorship networks, subject area distribution, and keyword co-occurrence. Results show a significant increase in publication output from 2015 onwards, with peak activity observed between 2021 and 2025. Most contributions came from the disciplines of environmental science, agricultural and biological sciences, and earth and planetary sciences, with limited representation from social sciences, behavioural research, and policy studies. Southeast Asian countries, particularly Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand, were among the top contributors, though varying in levels of international collaboration. Keyword analysis revealed dominant themes related to ecological impact, marine litter, and decomposition, with emerging interest in microplastics and environmental education. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of the research landscape on environmental negligence in Asia and highlights the need for more interdisciplinary engagement. The findings offer direction for future studies and policy development aimed at advancing sustainable waste management practices through integrated scientific and educational approaches.
