Jongweon Kim received Master's and Ph.D. degrees in Signal Processing at the University of Seoul, Seoul, Korea, in 1991 and 1995, respectively. He worked as a Senior Researcher at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information, Daejon, Korea, in 1995, Assistant Professor at Juseong College, Chungbuk, Korea, 1996~2000, Head of MarkAny Research Institute, Seoul, Korea, 2000~2004, and Research Professor and Principal Researcher at the Copyright Protection Research Institute at Sangmyung University, Seoul, Korea, 2004~2009. He is now a Professor in the Department of Electronics Engineering at Sangmyung University, Seoul, Korea. His research interests are copyright protection, digital signal processing, and artificial intelligence.
