Antonio Jarquin-Laguna (1984, Toluca, Mexico) is an assistant professor at the Department of Maritime and Transport Technology at the Faculty of Mechanical, Maritime and Materials Engineering of Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands. He received his BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Mexico UNAM , in 2007, MSc from Delft University of Technology in 2010, and Ph.D in Offshore wind energy from the same institution in 2017. He conducted research in fluid-power applications for wind energy systems and worked as an innovation engineer in the design of floating tidal energy systems for the offshore company Bluewater Energy Services. His current research interests include offshore renewables, energy storage solutions and physical modelling.
