Mario Calabrese, PhD, is an associate professor of Management, Department of Management, Faculty of Economics, Sapienza University of Rome and junior research fellow at the International School for Advanced Studies Sapienza, SSAS. At the same university, he was adjunct professor of management, technological and organizational innovation, innovation and organization of companies, and management of supply markets. His main expertise is in management, innovation management, viable system approaches, and knowledge management. In recent years, his research activity has focused on the finance of supply chains and the logistics of fine art. In the field of management, he worked on the definition and implementation of new systems regarding the strategic planning process, the planning and control of research and development activities, operational planning and control, and financial management. In 2012, he obtained his PhD in “Business Management” at Sapienza University of Rome, and in 2014, he obtained a specialized diploma within the master’s course in Internalization at SNA (National School of Administration). In his career, he has produced essays and articles; has participated in research groups, conferences, and congresses; has founded scientific societies and associations; and has collaborated with public and private institutions, both nationally and internationally.
